Good Morning Elmdon Residents,

Please find below the neighbourhood crimes for Elmdon between 11/9/26 - 19/9/26:

There was an attempted theft of motor vehicle on 15/09/2026 along Old Lode Lane. The currently unknown offenders have attempted to steal the car by using a scanning device. Fortunately, they were disturbed and left on foot with no vehicle. This investigation has since been filed, but should you have any further information, please do reach out to us on 101.

Good News:

Officers located nominals suspected to be drug dealing and involved in robberies near to Hobs Moat Road and Lode Lane. Following a foot chase involving jumping garden fences, officers had one male detained and whilst one male managed to evade officers, enquiries are ongoing to identify him, so I am sure we will be paying him a visit very soon! For the male detained by officers, a small amount of drugs were found and he was processed accordingly. We will not tolerate drug related offending and ASB on our patch.

If your car has Keyless Entry and Start (PKES), it can be stolen by ‘Relay Attack’ 🔓

•           Move keys away from doors and windows
